With our membership growth during the past year, we are happy to announce that a standard membership will only be $20 beginning July 1, 2024. APA has put a new system in place that allows one-time signup, with membership renewing annually unless canceled. We hope this update is more convenient for everyone!
​The APA is a 501(c)(3) that advocates for our sport in Asheville. Your tax-deductible membership helps support our core operations:

Provide youth clinics, focusing on underserved
communities, in partnership with Asheville Parks and
Recreation (APR) and city schools. -
Provide youth and adult clinics, leagues and
tournaments. -
Organize fundraisers for other local charitable organizations.

Organize socials for pickleball members to play and mingle.

Lobby APR on your behalf to improve and expand our local pickleball facilities.

Advocate for fair allocation of city funding, which should take into account the explosive growth of taxpayers playing pickleball.
